But there is not enough time.
And there is no, no song I could sing. And there is no combination
of words I could say. But I will still tell you one thing. We’re better together.
What an incredibly special wedding day for two amazing souls. Ali and Josh have been a couple for four years, and they were set up by Josh’s cousin. It took a few tries for Ali to go out with Josh, but he was persistent, and persistence pays off! He called and asked her out to coffee, and the rest was history. The couple enjoys spending time together, especially in the great outdoors; camping and spending time on the lake are two of their favorite activities. One of their favorite memories together would be camping this past summer at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. “It was such a blast, because we had never done anything like that together”, explained Ali, “I love riding side by side on the dunes, and Josh was like a kid at Christmas! I loved seeing how happy it made him to have so much fun together”. They also enjoy going to the movies and checking out the local breweries, when they have spare time.
The pair has been through hard times as well as good ones, and Ali says dating long distance really strengthened their relationship. They had to be intentional about things like communication and trust, and Ali says it really defined their core values as a couple: commitment and honesty. Their wedding day reflected their values, with plenty of loved ones around them, and such a joyful atmosphere. Ali and her bridesmaids had floral robes that were the most gorgeous pop of color, and all of her bouquets were stunning shades of red, green, and pinks. There were so many sweet little details, like her name on her dress hanger, and the berries surrounding the cake…so many little touches that showed the love and care poured into this day.
