In the years I’ve been involved with photography, I’ve learned to appreciate all the small things that make up the beautiful world we live in.
Each wedding is unique and a new chance for me to share with others my passion for soft and romantic style photography.

I'm Celestina.

Sometimes, I get to do sessions for family and friends. It’s not all that often, but when I do, it lends an aspect that is even more special than a wedding or elopement for a brand-new client (as special as those are, of course!). This beautiful bride is one of my best friends, Kim. She’s always been my biggest cheerleader and support system, and she is a true treasure in my life. Kim and Dexter met just  over six years ago, through a mutual friend. “I was thinking this morning about what my favorite thing about him is”, explains Kim, “I realized it is that he figures out how I need to be loved and cared for, and he perfects it like an art. Dexter always wants to figure out things, so he can love me better! He tries to listen and understand, and calms me down. He is the only person I know who can handle my crazy mood swings, and never once make me feel like I am too much to handle, or inconveniencing him with my ups and downs. He is so patient and gentle!” Both of these beautiful people really value respect, communication, and fun…and it shows. They look at each other with the look of two people truly in sync with one another.

“I chose Celestina for this session because she is the best”, adds Kim, “She was there for me from the beginning, when I first met Dexter, and having her to document how far we have come together was just amazing.” The pair has also overcome many obstacles, including when their dog Sophie was unfortunately hit by a car. Kim says Dexter was there by her side, adding, “I appreciate his caring nature even more now. It was a super hard time emotionally and financially, but we made it.” Together, the two of them also enjoy plenty of adventuring, especially traveling to new places, having new experiences, and always sharing fresh perspectives with one another. The gorgeous Pacific Northwest was the perfect spot for their magical elopement, and represented their amazing journey perfectly. “The Oregon trip in its entirety was seriously the best experience of my life. From start to finish it was the perfect trip and will always be my now favorite memory to look back on!”, says Kim. I share her sentiments. What a special time it was to share with both of them, and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful backdrop.

Kim, you have always been there for me, and I am so grateful. Thank you for choosing me to capture the most amazing day with you!
