I think it’s pretty easy to see these two are simply head over heels for each other! Those huge, happy smiles just don’t lie! Meet Jackilyn and Phill, who are celebrating their recent engagement. They are two of the brightest spirits I have ever met, and I adore their sweet love story. “We met as children, and we were neighbors in a small country area of town. Our moms were very good friends, so we spent lots of time together at each other’s homes”, explains Jackilyn, “Before high school, his family moved away, and we didn’t see them as often. Some time passed, and we didn’t cross paths again until college, which was a whole thirteen years later!” They reconnected via Facebook (ah, modern times!), and met up in person to catch up. They quickly realized they were meant to be, and both say their families are thrilled to have such a long and happy history. Phill asked her to marry him in front of the Christmas tree, before a holiday party, and made the perfect romantic memory! “I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him”, adds the bride-to-be, “We are a great team.” For their session, we loved this garden location, and the two of them were so easy to work with, because their love is genuine. Jackilyn wore a gorgeous red dress, which set off the sparkle from her perfect ring!
The pair is busy planning their wedding, which will be outdoors. They plan to wed underneath an outdoor canopy with a small waterfall and plenty of greenery. Then, they will have their reception in a large tent with lots of gold and blush themes, adding that their vision is “more rustic”. They are praying for good weather, and I am so excited for them to begin their lives together.
